Let’s learn and effect change together.
The next round of my signature course, "Accomplice Academy," is launching this month, January 2021! Join us in building an intentional community of white folks who want to deepen their anti-racist practice and vision.
7 weekly online classes. 7 unique home learning assignments. 7 accountability buddy calls. 1 coaching session, and an ongoing community of growth.
Grow your toolkit to dismantle white supremacy and embark on a journey to build the consciousness and courage needed to be grounded activists for change. Together, we will:
· Unpack the deep conditioning of white supremacy, and analyze the ways in which it has shaped all of our lives.
· Dive into the history of the construction of race, and begin the work of reclaiming our identities before we became white.
· Create a long-lasting community while working to be accomplices in the racial justice movement.
· Explore concepts such as white fragility, white innocence, accountability, and reparations.
· Build the stamina to incorporate anti-racism as our key orientation in life.
Doing some of this work in affinity--or, in groups of "same" identity--is essential in order to build positive relationships to white antiracism while also lessening the burden of harm to people of color. Affinity learning is not the only work we do, but a component. Join us and step into deeper freedom for all of us.
20% of all class proceeds go to Black and Indigenous folks, in the form of direct reparations or donations to grassroots movements.
Classes start the week of January 18th, with a Mondays 4-6pm PST section, or a Thursdays 6-8pm PST section.

Testimonies From Past Class Participants:
Before this class, I was operating from a very very basic and rudimentary and potentially even harmful way of approaching racial injustice. Now I hope to lend my resources in a way that serves what is actually needed. I have way more tools to call on to assess where I might be overstepping and harming and to turn that into things that are actually helpful and can create real change. --Alex W
I appreciated learning from Mira because she is an open book about how she has lived her own path of awakening and unlearning white supremacy. She isn't just teaching from the book, she is teaching from her lived experience. She is kind, brave and determined. You will be held, educated and challenged in wonderful ways, go for it! --Melissa W.
This experience helped me see how much I've lost culturally within my identity as a white person, and how much power and privilege this has granted me. I now see more clearly how this loss has contributed to the harm of BIPOC over the generations, and ultimately, EVERYONE is harmed by it. --Jack L.
This program allowed me to process my experiences and thoughts in a safe environment where I was able to be vulnerable and open. Working in a collective provided the opportunity to have honest conversations about really difficult topics. These conversations gave me a better understanding of how our society works within the confines of white supremacy. -- Bridget G.
